As I walked out from my dorm's building, I noticed that it was dark and cold. Who knew 4 months of missing summer could have gone so fast? The winterformal is in 2 weeks and I am not ready yet.
I looked around me, there weren't alot of people. I put my arms inside the pocket of my hoodie and put the hood on my head and walked over a bench.
Leaves of brown, orange and yellow were all over under the tree and on the bench. I shoved the leaves and it landed slowly on to the ground. I looked up to the skies of purple, pink, red and blue. It was 4pm and the sun was already going down. I took in a deep breath and exhaled.
Suddenly, there was somebody walking towards my way. I couldn't help but noticing him. Or her. Then he stopped next to the bench where I was sitting on.
"Excuse me?" A low voice said.
I looked and hesitated. If it was any of the guys I know, this one was definately not one of them. "Uh. Yeah?"
"Do you know Adia Beckett?" He asked. My heart froze.
"It's.... me." I swallowed a huge gulp. "Who are you?"
Then he stepped forward. Hold on, I know this guy it's.... "Adia, it's me." He walked towards me. "Chris. Chris Lanter." He said. Oh my god.
"Omigod. Chris? Chris little Chris? Chris Lanter back home?" I asked as I got up from the bench and slowly walked towards him.
He laughed. "Yeah Dee." He said and dropped his backpack on the ground. "I've missed you!"
"Omigod I missed you too!" I ran towards him and gave him a big hug.
"Well. Apparently I'm not little Chris anymore." He said as he let go and picked up his back pack from the ground.
"Wow. No doubt in that." I smiled. "You've grown big boy!" I hit him on the arm. "Wow. You've been working out too?"
He blushed. "Nah. I just play alot of soccer during the summer." I laughed. Just then, the girls came out and saw me. Perfect timming. As usual.
"Dia?" River asked with Kris, Zeela, Jacy and Camille tagging along. When did Camille come back from her trip? Weird.
"Yeah! Over here!" I shouted and waved my arm.
"Who's that?" Zeela asked.
"Guys meet Chris. Chris Lanter. Chris meet Zeela and Jacy, sisters, Kris, Camille and River." I said as I pointed each one of them.
"It's nice to finally meet you." Chris said.
"So your the Chris Lanter Dia was talking about?" Jacy asked. Arms crossing her chest.
"Well. Who else would it be?" He laughed. Jacy blushed. Well, that's something you don't see everyday. Suddenly, my phone vibrated. I checked the caller ID and it was BraD. God, I've missed him. "BraD!" I shouted.
"Hi babe!" He said. I laughed.
"So, me and the guys just finished football practice. Wanna meet up?" He asked.
"Sure. Um, why don't you come over here. There's someone I'd like you to meet. Meet me infront of our dorm?"
"Oh sure. We're on our way. See ya!"
"Bye BraD!" Then I hung up.
"Was that your Braverly?" Chris asked.
I laughed. "Yeah. Just call him BraD."
"O-kay then."
A few minutes of talking with Chris and the girls, te guys finally arrived. BraD suprised me as usual.
"Guys, meet Chris Lanter. Chris meet my boyfriend, BraD and his friends Phoenix, Grant, Daryen and Duke."
"Waddup man!" BraD said and shook his hand.
"Nice to meet you, Chris." Phoenix said.
"Nice to meet you guys too."
"Wanna grab something to eat?" Grant asked.
"Sure." We all said at the same time.
We decided to eat at our usual diner's restaurant down town.
"So guys, the winter formal is in 2 weeks," BraD said. "And I have a surprise for you." BraD turned to look at me and touched my nose.
I laughed. "What kind of surprise?"
"Well it won't be a surprise if I told you, would it?" He laughed.
"Aw. Alright."
"So Jace. Found a date yet?" Zeela asked.
"Uh. Unfortunately..... no."
"Aw you'll get someone to ask you out soon." River said.
"Actually, lots of guys asked me out. But I rejected each of 'em."
"Why?" Almost everyone said it at the same time.
"Not the right one." Jacy said playing with her food.
"Well, what if I asked you out Jace?" Everyone turned to the end of the table towards Chris.
We looked back at Jacy and her mouth was hanging open. But eventually she managed to close it.
"Uh.."
"Even though we just met. I'd like to know you better." He smiled.
"S-sure." She finally said, "I mean, why not?" She smiled back to him.
I could hear the table squirming with whispers and giggling. Then I turned to look at Jacy and Chris, who were smilling and blushing. Then I laughed and turned to BraD and gave him a surprise kiss.
"What was that for?" He asked, smilling.
"Nothing. I just have an awesome boyfriend that's all." I smiled.
"Well, I for one have an awesome and most amazing hot girlfriend." And then he kissed me again.
